Base Utau
What is Utau?
Utau is a vocal synthesis software designed in 2008. The software is a free alternative to Vocaloid that allows users to create and share voicebanks. The original program is quite limited in comparion to Vocaloid and Synthesizer V.

Open Utau
What is Open Utau?
Open Utau is a revamped, open source version of Utau created by the community. It aims to improve the program's usability while also providing new features similar to modern Vocaloid or Synthesizer V.

Diffsinger
What is Diffsinger?
Diffsinger is the Utau equivalent of a Synth V model. It's trained on a vocalist's singing data rather than individual samples. This results in a smoother sound.

Here are some popular voicebanks in the community, along with some personal recommendations. I'll do my best to explain the perks of each one.
